It all started in 1984 when two entrepreneurs merged their talents to create a small locally owned company, Hamco, Inc. In the early days, Hamco primarily produced baby bibs and then expanded into soft bath products.
- In 1997, Hamco was acquired by Crown Crafts, Inc. (NASDAQ-CM: CRWS)
- In 1998, Hamco acquired Pinky Baby Products
- In the summer of 2009, Hamco acquired Neat Solutions, an innovator in disposable feeding products for children
- In July of 2010, Hamco acquired the Bibsters brand of disposable bibs from Procter and Gamble
